John R. Bartle, Ph.D.
Dr. John R. Bartle is the David Scott Diamond Professor of Public Affairs and the Director of the School of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). His major research areas are public budgeting, taxation and financial management, sustainable development, and social equity.
Dr. Bartle has served as a consultant with a wide variety of groups in all levels of U.S. governments, in international development, nonprofit organizations, and major public universities. His doctorate is from the School of Public Policy and Management at The Ohio State University; he holds an MPA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College.
