Mary Ferdig, President/CEO
Mary A. Ferdig, Ph.D. has practiced leadership and organizational development consulting for 30 years in both business and nonprofit sectors, including ten years as manager of human resources and organizational development at a large Midwestern utility. Throughout that time, Mary's research interests have focused on leadership effectiveness and transformational change grounded in epistemological, process communication, and social complexity perspectives.
In addition to her leadership role at the Sustainability Leadership Institute, Mary is currently an adjunct faculty associate in the College of Public Affairs and Community Service at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and has affiliations with Benedictine University, Lisle, IL, the Complexity Management Centre, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, UK, and the Institute of General Semantics, New York, NY.
