Green Omaha Coalition |
This event, hosted two years consecutively by the Green Omaha Coalition, provided a lively forum in which political leaders, business and non-profit leaders and community activists come together to share and learn about sustainability actions and successes in the Omaha community. The roundtable dialogues foster a productive exchange among citizens with diverse points of view about how to continue the pathway to a greener Omaha community.
Business leaders from Omaha, Phoenix and Denver convened in Omaha to stimulate thinking and explore conversation about planetary concerns and the global regional, and local impact. They considered questions such as: What is the current reality? What is being done that suggests movement in the shift to less destructive patterns of human behavior? How can I make a difference?
